The Tenby Male Choir and Deborah Rose
Deborah Rose returns to The Market Theatre to support the charity Acorns Hospice, fitting it into her busy schedule this year touring Australia and New Zealand, as well as volunteer work in Uganda. This Welsh born but Severn Valley resident songstress with her ethereal vocal talent provides a wonderful complement to our guest choir. Her emotive and timeless voice has been described by folk legend Judy Collins as one of the finest I’ve heard.
Tenby is not only a tourist destination but an enthusiastic community spirited town. One of its superior community organisations is The Tenby Male Choir, which has have carried the name of Tenby far and wide. Celebrating over 40 successful years, at 50 choristers strong, the choir prides itself on the professional reputation that it has grown from the Heart of Pembrokeshire. We benefit from the Choir’s ongoing charity fundraising and appreciate that such a prestigious choir performs for us in Ledbury.
