Hereford Police Choir

Hereford Police Choir are no strangers to the stages of Ledbury.  The sixty-strong choir celebrated their Diamond Jubilee in 2017 in Hereford Cathedral, where it all started in 1957.  Their highlight of 2018 was the London Welsh Festival of Male Voice Choirs at the Royal Albert Hall featuring some of the top international choirs coming together to create one huge ensemble.  Hereford Police Choir has been privileged to receive regular invitations to be part of such prestigious musical occasions in one of the most famous concert halls in the world.

The choir will be accompanied by two guest soloists.  The ethereal vocal talent of Welsh born, Severn Valley resident and songstress, Deborah Rose, who makes a welcome return to The Market Theatre; and Carlos Alonso, a recognised tenor voice in the South West, having sung with the Bath Philharmonia Orchestra and performed at Colston Hall in Bristol and at Rosa Mannion’s Summer Concerts.  Carlos is a member of Opera Sullis and organises charity and private concerts in the UK and Spain.
