Mothering Sunday
On Mothering Sunday in 1924, housemaid Jane Fairchild is given the day off by her employers Mr. and Mrs. Niven. This gives Jane the chance to spend time with her lover Paul, while his wealthy parents, their friends the Hobdays and the Nivens have lunch together. However, to complicate matters further, Paul is engaged to the Hobday’s daughter, Emma, although they have mixed feelings about their engagement. But events that none of them can foresee will change the course of Jane’s life forever.
