Set in the remote Bolivian highlands, Utama follows an elderly Quechua couple who have been living the same daily routine for years.  An uncommonly long drought is threatening their way of life, when their grandson arrives with news that brings their predicament into sharp focus as they confront the existential threats of climate change, the value of tradition, and the meaning of life.
