Malvern Big Band

The Malvern Big Band has been together for over 20 years, and attracts some of the finest jazz musicians in the region.  The band’s repertoire ranges from the classics of the Big Band era by the likes of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman etc, contemporary composers such as Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Wayne Shorter and others, to jazz and swing reinterpretations of pop classics by the likes of The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and many more.  Directed by Mike Halliday and featuring special guest vocalist Garry Rutter.
