Hiring the Theatre

The Market Theatre combines intimacy with modern purpose-built facilities and technical excellence, providing a dedicated venue for professional and amateur performing arts.

The Auditorium has good acoustics and is suitable for talks, readings, musical and theatrical events.
The Foyer, which can be self-contained, has good natural light and a bar area.  It is ideal for workshops and meetings.
The whole theatre or just the foyer may be hired for private events.

If you would like to bring a public event to The Market Theatre, we would ask you to supply full details so that we can see whether it will fit within our curated seasonal programme.
