Deaf (original title “Sorda”)

Following a young couple - Ángela, who is deaf, and her hearing partner Héctor - via the clever use of sound and silence, the audience is immersed in Angela's experience.  Exploring the struggles she faces as a new mother, as well as the fact that her partner, and maybe her daughter will never fully understand what the world is like for her. 

Winner of the 27th Panorama Audience Award at Berlinale.
