Bugonia

Teddy (Jesse Plemons), a beekeeper incensed by the dwindling honeybee population, immerses himself in conspiracy theories. With his cousin, he sets out to kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company (a chillingly ruthless Emma Stone), convinced that she’s an alien intent on destroying planet Earth. An inspired take on Jang Joon-hwan’s 2003 South Korean satire Save the Green Planet!, events unfold with surprising and shocking results. Expect absurd, inventive, sometimes violent black comedy, some very strong language and a bold finale. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.
