East of the Sun, West of the Moon / «На Захід від Сонця, На Схід від Місяця»

Based on a traditional story, East of the Sun, West of the Moon is a spellbinding tale of adventure, mystery and romance featuring a magical white bear, a young girl and an anarchic troll!

A visual tale, told without words, this performance is open to all nationalities and captivates audiences of all ages from 5-105 years!

The show runs for approximately 1 hour, including a chance to meet some of the puppets.

Brought to you in partnership with the West Midlands Strategic Migration Partnership as part of Refugee Week, the world’s largest arts & culture festival celebrating the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. The festival is a partnership project coordinated by Counterpoints Arts.  This year the festival takes place from 16-22nd June 2025 and the theme is “Community as a Superpower”.
