Pontnewydd Male Choir

Supported by soloists Carlos Alonso and Deborah Rose

Formed in 1904, the choir has raised thousands of pounds for worthy causes throughout the UK, including The Royal Albert Hall.

They are complimented by Carlos Alonso, a recognised tenor who has sung with The Bath Philharmonia, and Welsh singer songwriter Deborah Rose, whose varied music career has taken her from supporting Judy Collins to performing with Ralph McTell, July Felix and 10CC.

The choir includes men of all ages, coming together to raise their voices in song (and often to raise a glass afterwards too). Entertainers through and through, the choir boasts a range of songs, from traditional and religious to popular songs and musical theatre numbers. Together, they pride themselves on helping to preserve the culture of traditional Welsh male voice singing.
